Mplore collects information, “Personal Information” and “Non-Personal Information”, that you give to us and that we gather from your use of the Service. “Personal Information” means information that personally identifies you, including your first and last name, email address, physical address, telephone numbers, billing information, and/or social security number. “Non-Personal Information” means information that does not personally identify you.

 

The Service may require you to register for an Mplore account to access specific features of the Service. This registration may require your disclosure to us of Personal Information. You may also give us your information if enter if you participate in promotions, chat rooms, message boards, news groups, or other community services available to you through the Service or Webpages. We may retain and use such information.

 

Third parties who transact, participate, and/or advertise with us may provide us with information including, but not limited to, telephone numbers, physical address, email address, description of business, business category and/or keyword information, credit card information, and other contact information (“Business Information”). Business Information may also include a request to receive additional information regarding the Services and may include Personal Information. Your Personal Information may be combined with other information that obtained from Partners or other companies. Your Personal Information may be combined with your Non-Personal Information and, if so, will be treated as Personal Information as long as combined.

 

Sharing and Disclosure

 

As part of the Service, we may share your information with partners including, but not limited to, advertising, services, and content partners (“Partners”) or allow such Partners to gather your information directly from you. Some of your information may include your Personal Information and may be shared with third parties in certain circumstances including, but not limited to, each of the following:

 

We retain the right to share your Non-Personal Information publicly and with third-parties, including, but not limited to, providing anonymous reports to Partners as to the number of users who searched for “keyword”, how many users clicked on a particular listing/ advertising on the Webpages, and/or postings on chat rooms, message boards, and other public forums within the Service. Any such postings may appear on third-party websites or when searches are posted to the subject of your posting. Further, some of the Non-Personal Information may be provided to Partners to use in calculating amounts owed by or to such Partners or to assisting such Partners in improving their services.

 

Transfers of your information shall also be subject to applicable law. We disclaim any liability or responsibility for any third-party actions/omissions concerning your information. Cookies

 

When you visit the Service and/or Webpages, a “cookie” that uniquely identifies your browser might be sent to your computer or mobile device. A “cookie” is a small file which contains your preferences which is sent to your browser and from your browser each time your browser accesses the servers which host the Service and/or Webpages. We use the services of web-analytics companies to assist us in measuring the effectiveness of and advertising on, the Service. In this regard, we allow the web-analytics companies to include Web beacons and “cookies” on the Webpages; the type of information collected thereby will include search terms, search parameters, click-through by users, and other similar information. This information helps us learn things including user preferences, popular search categories, click-through rates, ways to improve the Service, and other services our users may want. Many, and perhaps all, of the advertisements appearing on the Service will be delivered by one of our advertising partners ("Advertising Partners"). Accessing and Changing Your Personal Information

 

If you have an account for the Service, you have the ability to review and update your Personal Information online by clicking on a "My Account" link (or similar link) on the Service and then logging into your Mplore account. You may also review and update your Personal Information by contacting us at privacy@mplore.com. Generally speaking, we will not modify your Personal Information because remote verification of your identity is difficult. You must continuously update your Personal Information to maintain accuracy. After you make a public posting using your Personal Information, you may be unable to thereafter change or remove it. If and when you request, we will close your Mplore account and remove your Personal Information as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable law. We may and do retain Personal Information from closed Mplore accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect owed fees, address and resolve disputes, troubleshoot and solve problems, assist with investigations, enforce this Policy, and undertake other actions permitted by law.

 

Confidentiality

 

We accept responsibility to undertake reasonable measures designed to protect your Personal Information. In that regard, we have procedures to restrict access to your Personal Information among Mplore employees, contractors, Affiliates, Partners, and agents. There are physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed comply with applicable law to restrict access to your Personal Information. Regardless of these safeguard, no website or Internet transmission is completely secure. Accordingly, there is no guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will not occur relating to your Personal Information. Your use of and access to the Service and/or the Webpages is completely at your own risk. You should and must take steps to protect your Personal Information, including, but not limited to regularly changing your passwords in a secure manner and using a secure Internet browser.

 

Third-Party Practices

 

When search query is submitted on the Service, Non-Personal Information, including IP addresses and search terms or phrases, is transmitted to certain Partners to allow them to deliver responsive Internet search results, advertising, or other services and, in some cases, for internal data-reporting purposes. These Partners are obligated by applicable law to protect the privacy of certain data; however, we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of those Partners, including the manner in which information received from us is used. Regardless, if you feel that any of the Partners, or any third party who claims any association with us, is improperly collecting or using your information, we strongly suggest that you directly contact them and inform us at privacy@mplore.com.

 

Certain Partners who provide/enable any functionality on the Service may request or require that you download certain software and/or request information from you, including Personal Information, to access such functionality. We are not responsible for the content of any software that you download from, or the privacy practices of, the Partners. Also, any web sites that you click to from the Webpages may have been developed by third-parties and are not subject to our control; such web sites may send “cookies” to end-users, collect data, and/or solicit Personal Information; we are not responsible for the privacy practices and/or the content of such web sites, including their collection and/or use of any information when our end-users click through those web sites. If you are concerned about the privacy policy of a third party, you should promptly directly contact them and/or visit their associated web sites to learn about their respective privacy policies.

 

Children

 

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For more information about COPPA and children's privacy, please research the subject. When used below, the term "parent" shall include legal guardians.

 

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not provide Mplore Accounts to persons under age 13. If you are under the age of 13, you must not give us any Personal Information and may not create an Mplore account and/or register, signup for, or participate in any aspect of the Service. Unless required by law, we will not knowingly collect, maintain, and/or disclose any Personal Information from children under the age of 13.

 

We will not intentionally collect any Personal Information about end-users who are under the age of 13. If you perceive or know that we have collected Personal Information about an end-user who is under the age of 13, please immediately contact us at privacy@mplore.com so that such Personal Information can be deleted.

 

If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, please read and review this Policy with your parent(s) and obtain your parent(s) permission before giving us any of your Personal Information and/or before you sign-up for or participate in the Service; also, please do not post your real name on a website, message board, or other community service, and please never share anything private about yourself or your family, including your phone number and address, with anyone online; in addition, please use screen names at all times. Some areas of the Service may have special rules for children between the ages of 13 and 18; when you access those areas, you must follow those special rules.

 

Parents are encouraged to spend time online with their children and become familiar with the types of content available on the Internet, including but not limited to the Webpages. We recommend that Parents regularly and repeatedly oversee their children's use of email, Internet, and other online communications and transactional capabilities. Control tools are readily available from online services and software manufacturers to assist in providing a safer online environment for children.

 

We will not knowingly require anyone under the age of 18 to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the Service. At any time, Parents may request a review and/or removal of their child's Personal Information by contacting us at privacy@mplore.com and then providing us with the same screen name, password, and email address that was submitted to us by their child; in this circumstance, in an effort to protect the child's privacy and security, we will undertake reasonable steps to verify the parent's identity before granting access to the child's Personal Information.

We may revise this Policy from time to time and at any time. The revised Policy will be posted at the webpage of this Policy and replace this Policy. When we determine that a revision to this Policy is material, a prominent notice will accompany the revised Policy. After the revised Policy is posted, your subsequent use of the Service will signify your acceptance of and make your use subject to the revised Policy.
